My first attempt at thrift store shopping

I probably could have done better, but I was happy with this for my first time. 8 pieces of quality clothing for Aria and Nathan. A plate and bowl to make a cake plate, 6 various sized wooden frames (in the purple and yellow bags) for a project, 2 books, 2 purses and one toy (not pictured).

$60. 21 items, averaging a little under $3 per item.

I love bargain shopping! Garage sales are my favorite. I got most of Daniel's little baby clothes for 10 cents a piece, and they were in really good shape. I even found new looking church shoes for $4!

Congrats on your recent adventures! What with only having one real store up here the thrift shop, run by the teachers so only open during the school year, is a necessity and very cheap!

Great finds! I love going to thrift stores. Other Mothers quarter sales are great! I always find the kids great, quality, name-brand clothing that I pay .25 for, and then some play clothes that Madeleine can get dirty in without breaking the bank. And most clothing items at the north store (franchised by someone other than the south and valley stores) are about $3-5 apiece normally priced, so great deals all around. Before you know it, you'll be a pro!
