So naughty...but strangely polite and obedient

Conversation with Gabe tonight.

Imagine you're hearing this as a very polite and sweet request from the cutest kid ever.

Gabe: "Mommy, can I please poke Clara in the eye?"
Me: "Um. No."
Gabe: "Oh. Okay."

and he didn't.
